1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the GTU Portal collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently. This is a prototype placeholder; final policy copy will be provided before launch.

2. Data we collect

We collect account details you provide (such as your name and work email), content you create in the portal (objectives, tickets, comments, time logs), and technical data generated automatically (device, browser, and usage information) needed to operate the service.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and secure the service, to authenticate you, to surface your work and notifications, to improve features, and to communicate important account or service information. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

Data is shared within your organisation as needed for collaboration, and with trusted sub-processors who help us run the service under appropriate contractual safeguards. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

5. Security & retention

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact your organisation administrator or the GTU support team.
